Deep Pullback Strategy

The Deep Pullback set-up is a strategy used to position into an existing trend trade. One of the difficulties as a trend trader is capturing the correct trending move and avoiding those false breakout moves that often cause whipsawing price action and small losing trades. Our goal with the deep pullback is to identify the intraday or swing trading trend by the initial trend set-up. Once the initial trend set-up has been established we are looking for a deep pullback to add positions or entry the trade for the first time.
The advantage to this strategy is that we already have a confirmed trend in play based on our initial move and we are looking to enter the trade with a very small risk.
Average trade net profit: typically +$100
Risk to reward 2:1
